Courage Brand
Courage Brand is a hand-crafted bracelet line that has been designed so that all materials are donated, therefore passing on the 100% of the bracelet price to support cancer care and research in Canada. Courage Brand co-hosted a pop-up shop at Holt Renfrew to launch their last collection and is sold at several independent boutiques in Canada, as well as online. To date the collection has raised over $50,000 for cancer care and research in Canada.
The Closet Collective
The Closet Collective is a used clothing pop-up fundraiser in support of the Ottawa School of Art that transforms an entire floor of studios into a merchandised concept store with 5K+ pieces of clothing, shoes and accessories. Each year a group of local taste-makers curate the store and donate several articles of clothing. The pop-up store features drinks, snacks, silent auction and music and has raised over $50,000 for arts programming since its launch.
The surplus of clothing from the sale are distributed to Dress for Success and St Joe’s Women’s Centre. Title sponsors include brands such as H&M, The Drake General Store and Morguard Properties.
A Summer Dinner for Cystic Fibrosis Canada
"A Summer Dinner" is an annual charity dinner hosted in my personal home in support of Cystic Fibrosis Canada. Each year 28 seats are set for an intimate three-course meal prepared by a local chef and sponsored by Metro Canada. My role in this event included branding, invites, table settings, sponsorship, conceptualizing the dinner menu and acting as the evening's host.
Courage x Holt Renfrew Pop-Up
In a new marketing initiative, Holt Renfrew sought to give opportunities for Ottawa's younger philanthropists to host events in their flagship store in support of local causes. Together with Models International Management, Courage brand launched a collaboration bracelet with Holt Renfrew and used their space as a pop-up shop and launch for Courage Brands' collection in support of The Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation.
Ottawa Foodie Challenge
The Ottawa Foodie Challenge is an urban photo scavenger hunt that raises funds in support of the Ottawa Food Bank. The event calls on Ottawa’s most passionate ‘bon vivants’ to compete against each other in food and drink related challenges, all based on their knowledge of the city's culinary scene. As the Founder and Director of this event, I managed a dedicated team and oversaw everything from sponsorship, branding, promotion to the overall design of the event including title sponsor Wüsthof Canada.
Lawn Summer Nights
Lawn Summer Nights centers around a social summertime lawn bowling fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis Canada. The teams who take part in the 4-week event compete on the lawns and also fundraise together in support of CF Canada.
Since the summer of 2014 I've acted as a team captain, raising thousands of dollars in support of Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
